Tinkerbell is a well known character from the play Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie and the Disney animated movie of the same name. Tinkerbell is a fairy that follows and assists, where possible, Peter Pan in his adventures on the mythical island of Neverland. She is said to have been a green and yellow coloured bird who fell into a bag of star stuff and turned into a fairy. Tinkerbell gives off a sprinkling of stardust whenever she moves, which allows others fly as long as they think happy thoughts.
